About - Any AV

Hello, my name is Andy Cooke and I’m the owner of Any AV.

Originally from Birmingham but now a Burnley family man, my career in the professional sound, lighting and audio-visual industry spans over 40 years.

Back in the 1980’s, I was part of a team installing high performance sound and effects lighting systems into the ‘mega nightclubs’ as well as the emerging genre of what were then called ‘fun pubs’. These are now late-night bars or ‘destination’ bars, but they’re mostly still fun all the same! My career then progressed to the role of Project Manager for two of the biggest players in the UK for music and video system installations for mainstream retail and hospitality brands.

Since 2011 I’ve had my own business, sub-contracting my talent and services back to my former employers (for many of the same brands) as well as other larger installation companies, installing and commissioning a wide range of AV systems from background music to large videowall displays. Ten years later, and my aim is to make Any AV the go-to company in the north west for professional audio-visual solutions.
